We are situated in Philipsburg between the historical Passagrahan Hotel and the St. Rose Arcade right on the Boardwalk on Great Bay Beach. This bar was established by the Parsons family from the Muskoka’s in Ontario Canada in 2002. Phil, Lynne and sons Jay and Matt are “Canadians gone Caribbean”. Like many other snow birds they wanted to escape those long icy winters in northern Ontario and decided to start a family business in beautiful Sint Maarten.

Get Wet Beach Bar features $1 Heinekens and $5 beach chair rentals with a FREE drink and umbrella. This is also the home of the “Get Wet Burger”. This lean beef patty has bacon, cheese, sautéed onions & mushrooms, lettuce and tomato on a bakery fresh bun. Why not also try a “Guavaberry Colada” which is the famous local Sint Maarten frozen drink.

We are a “Crew Friendly” bar and are frequented by the crew from the 12 meter regatta, Golden Eagle, Lord Sheffield, Dive Safaris and the many Cruise Ships and Mega Yacht crew. They come for our great food and welcoming service from Phil and the family. We are always happy and excited to meet new people from around the world and to serve you. When people come to the Get Wet bar, it feels like their own local pub.

Our opening hours on the weekdays are from 11:00 am through to 8:00 pm and open later on the weekends. On Fridays our house band rocks with great favorites. Come and visit us… it is especially nice to watch the gorgeous sunsets from our relaxing patio while sipping your favorite drink or a cold beer EH!
